Fast-Growing RuleBurst Re-brands as Haley Limited, Expands U.S. Market Presence
New North American Headquarters and Brand Name Reflect Strong Investment and Sales Momentum in the United States
WASHINGTON, DC - March 10, 2008 - RuleBurst, the world's fastest growing business rules license vendor since 2005, today announced the opening of its newly-expanded North American headquarters in the Washington, DC, area. Present at a recent reception marking the event was Mr. David Stuart, Charge d'Affaires, a.i. at the Embassy of Australia in Washington. RuleBurst also announced that effective immediately, it will do business worldwide under the Haley brand.
The re-branding is the result of the company's acquisition of business rules vendor Haley in November 2007. The Haley brand is already strongly recognized in the United States. The company's adoption of this name worldwide recognizes the importance of the U.S. to the company's strategy.
The new North American headquarters is being established by senior and experienced Haley personnel from company offices worldwide, including Haley's Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Matt Cahir. Because of its rapidly growing North American sales, Haley plans extensive U.S. hiring to meet the demand for support and implementation services. The new headquarters will support Haley's stronger North American presence and also strengthen its relationships with the company's major strategic partners: Oracle, SAP, IBM, Microsoft and Lagan.
Haley's CEO, Dominic O'Hanlon, said, "By adopting the Haley name worldwide and expanding our headquarters in the Washington, DC, area, Haley sends a clear message that North America is the major target of our international expansion. Since the RuleBurst acquisition of Haley, we have made great strides in successfully creating an integrated business. With our natural language rule authoring capabilities and BRMS solutions, we are uniquely positioned to make our customers more competitive and agile in a fast-paced, highly-regulated world."
Mr. O'Hanlon continued, "For the government market, Haley is a worldwide leader in using natural language technology to rapidly transform regulations, policies and rules into automated decision-making systems, to determine eligibility for government services, and in the taxation and immigration arenas. Haley continues to grow rapidly in the financial services and insurance market, with rules driven solutions for product eligibility, underwriting and claims determination; plus complementary technologies for fraud detection and governance, risk and compliance management (GRCM)."
Haley will now be able to serve its customers from two North American locations. The new headquarters are located at 2101 Wilson Blvd Suite 500, Arlington, VA 22201. Haley also retains its presence in Pittsburgh, PA, where the original Haley office was located.
