Haley Systems Names New President & CEO
Software Industry Veteran Hans Witt Takes Reins of Leading Business Rules Technology Firm to Drive Growth and Profitability
Pittsburgh, PA - May 31, 2005 - Haley Systems, Inc., the technology leader in business rules management systems, today announced that Hans Witt has joined the company as President and CEO.
Witt has nearly 30 years of software technology and executive management experience with some of the most recognizable and successful software brands in the technology marketplace, including IBM, NCR and Microsoft. He has been actively involved with Haley Systems (formerly The Haley ) since 1998 and is a member of the Board of Directors.
Witt was most recently with Intel Corporation, where he was General Manager for the knowledge management organization at Intel Architecture Labs. In this highly strategic position, he led a senior-level team that conceptualized and defined new products for the mission-critical areas of system, knowledge, security and information management.

The appointment of Hans Witt to President and CEO follows the resignation of Mark Juliano, who led the successful relaunch of the company following the closing of a $5.5 million round of venture capital funding in 2004.
