Haley's senior managers include the following key people.
Dominic O'Hanlon BSc
Chief Executive Officer
Dominic was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Haley (RuleBurst) in November 2006. Dominic has had a lengthy and successful career in the ICT industry, during which time he has held numerous directorships. He was previously employed as Group General Manager, South Asia Pacific, with Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) for which he was responsible for strategy and regional sales to government, education and healthcare organisations.
During the last 15 years Dominic has held other senior executive positions within NASDAQ listed multi-national ICT sales companies including those of Managing Director, General Manager, Sales Director and Operations Manager.
Dominic has a solid understanding of corporate governance obligations including those which attach to Australian and US GAAP Standards. Dominic holds numerous memberships and he is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Dominic has also successfully completed several professional courses and programs, including those run by the Australian Graduate School of Management and the Columbia Business School.
Matt Cahir EMBA (AGSM, Waikato)
Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing
Matt joined Haley (RuleBurst) in January 2007, equipped with more than twenty-five years experience in the IT&T sector, fifteen of which have been in Sales Management positions, and well-suited to be part of an Australian team that is taking its company to global markets.
Prior to his involvement with Haley, Matt worked as an independent consultant for three years at Alcuin, interfacing with top Asia Pacific Senior Management teams as Oracle, CA, Accenture and SAP. Highly regarded and in-demand, Matt focused on improving sales force effectiveness and advised to numerous senior sales management positions within those companies.
Matt was previously General Manager of Sales and Service at major Australian telecommunications provider AAPT. In his time there, Matt turned around the sales organisation by increasing revenue and improving EBITDA by more than 40% in his first year and more than 20% in each subsequent year thereafter. He also earned much success at IBM as a top achiever in Asia Pacific consecutively for three years. Matt has also previously held senior positions with Sema Schlumberger and Fujitsu, and was an officer in the Australian Army.
Now with Haley, Matt is working to build and incorporate core methodologies that will help produce strong teams, drive revenue growth, put in place strategies and execution plans to capture our key markets, and in doing so deliver value propositions to our customers.
Nick Mole BCom (Hons), BEcon (UQ), MBA (INSEAD)
Chief Financial Officer
Nick is Haley's Chief Financial Officer, having joined Haley (RuleBurst) as VP Strategy in September 2006.
Nick has extensive experience in helping companies to create value for their stakeholders, helping them to define winning strategies, restructure their businesses for growth, raise capital, expand internationally and pursue acquisitive growth.
Formerly a consultant with management consultancy Bain & Company in London, Nick worked with companies in the business services, telecommunications and consumer goods sectors to help define their IT strategies, put in place new sales & marketing strategies, analyse their true cost positions, become more efficient, and acquire other companies.
During his time with JPMorgan in Sydney, Nick assisted companies in a variety of industries to acquire and divest businesses, raise debt and equity capital in Australia and abroad, and define their high level corporate strategy.
Nick also has public policy experience, having advised the Hon John Moore MP, Australian Federal Minister for Industry, Science and Tourism (and subsequently Minister for Defence) on industry policy and public relations.
Davin Fifield BSc (Hons) (ANU)
Chief Technical Officer
Davin assumed the role of Chief Technical Officer of Haley (RuleBurst) in May 2006.
Davin has built a career in delivering world-class software products. Most recently he was Lead Program Manager for Business Intelligence for Dynamics AX at Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, WA (2002-06).
He was Director of Product Development at RealLegal in Denver, CO (1996-2002), delivering shrink-wrapped and ASP model legal software for court reporters and attorneys. Prior to his time with RealLegal, Davin worked with SoftLaw Corporation, a predecessor of Haley.
Davin has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the Australian National University in Canberra where he held a National Undergraduate Scholarship.
David Janssen BBS (Massey)
Senior Vice President Global Services
David Janssen joined Haley in 2007 as Vice President of Global Delivery and Support, managing the international professional services team and global support.
David brings more than 20 years' experience to the company, with previous sales, services, and project management positions gained in the financial services, corporate, non-profit and government sectors in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
David previously worked in senior Professional Service management roles for software companies in Australia, including: Insight, PayGlobal, SAS Institute and one of Australia's fastest growing software companies, Technology One.
David gained international Professional Service management experience with The Dodge Group in the UK and was posted to the US where he headed up the Services team, providing consulting and support implementing Data Warehousing software to global banks including Bankers Trust, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup.
