Pre Sales Consultants

We are currently seeking two Pre-Sales Consultants for our DC office. Pre-Sales consultants are responsible for supporting the sales process through product demonstrations, writing RFT content, building prototypes, and conducting workshops with clients and prospects.
The ideal person is dynamic, articulate, a proven leader and motivator, well presented with the possession of excellent interpersonal skills, and strong oral and written communication skills. The role requires a consummate professional who can hold their own in any company from the Chairman of the Board of Directors to C-level executives to clients.
- Supports the sales process by demonstrating Haley technologies in a compelling way to clients, partners and prospective clientele
- Carries out workshops or interviews with clients to elicit information relevant to constructing a compelling business case for the technology
- Develops prototypes and proofs of concept for clients to assist in building business cases
- Develops marketing collateral and presentation materials to support workshops, presentations, and prototypes
- Assists in preparing proposals and tender responses
- Actively fosters a positive and communicative working relationship between clients and the Haley sales department
- Assists Project Managers in preparing effort estimates for projects after new business is secured
- Identifies and communicates potential risk areas to Haley
- Reports progress and issues to other team members, Team Leaders, and Project Managers in a timely manner. In particular, communicates issues that might impact other team members, project quality or the ability to deliver to timescales or estimates
- Given that our projects carry a high level of risk we insist on the following:
- You will be able to interview our clients to discover the information we require to assist them in putting together a compelling business case supporting the procurement of our software and services
- You are extremely capable of putting together and presenting a complex PowerPoint supporting our assertions
- You are able to understand the business issues described to you by our clients and to convert those issues into solutions using software products
- You have a minimum of 2 years experience in a role where it is essential to produce quality Business Cases in support of complex ICT sales
- You have a proven ability to think quickly under pressure to provide correct advice and viable alternative approaches

The Training Consultant is responsible for providing high quality, effective training to Haley clients globally, to external clients, internal consultants and business partners. Training will be on the Haley Rules software, Haley Rules Software and Haley Governance Risk and Compliance software.
The Training Consultant will be, in part, a revenue generating member of the Education Services team within Professional Services.
The Training Consultant is required to have experience training groups of people and the ability to communicate, mentor and support clients through the learning process. In addition the person should have the following certification, skills and experience:
- Certificate in Workplace Training and Assessment
- A broad range of knowledge and experience relating to software development products and/or other rules based software
- Demonstrated experience in delivery, facilitation or program development for computer based adult education and training
- Proven ability in self management within a team environment
- Willingness to travel frequently, travel could be up to 80% of the consultant's time
- Provide training to external clients in the Haley product suite including train the trainer, management overview courses and detailed training to client users, ensuring they gain the necessary skills to become successful users of the product.
- Provide training to internal consultants in the Haley product suite, including intensive training for new consultants, refresher courses and training on module upgrades and new functionality.
- Identify training needs and cross sell opportunities across the client base
- Create and design customer and consultant specific training programs including e-learning based solutions
- Prepare and provide induction training to new employees
- Update and develop training documentation.
- Produce recorded Webinars and conduct live Webinars
- Produce online content with assessment components
- Scope out requirements for new curricula
- Carry out logistical and co-ordination tasks as required
The ideal candidate will possess a BS/BA in IT, Business or Law, or the equivalent work experience, or a Graduate degree in any discipline along with the following:
- 3-5 years experience in application systems training, preferably with software development product or business decision applications
- Experience / familiarity with Rules based software products will be highly regarded.
- Ability to structure training programs to the level of detail required for the audience.
- A high degree of computer literacy, advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with computer based training desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with client personnel at all levels
- Excellent presentation skills
- Effective prioritization, organization, and time management skills.

Technical Consultants assist in defining and delivering software solutions using Haley products and related technologies. A technical consultant quickly applies varied technology to customer requirements whilst keeping solutions aligned with the strategic direction of the company. Technical Consultant , Entry Level is the entry-level role in the Technical Team and is meant for recent graduates or IT professionals with one year of practical experience. This role involves assisting with and documenting technical designs, investigating new technologies, prototyping new Haley product features, helping with development, appropriate testing and documentation of delivered solutions. Technical Consultants assist in general IT support tasks from time-to-time.

Technical Business Consultant, Mid-level
Technical Consultants will assist in defining and delivering software solutions using Haley products and related technologies. They should be able to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to customer requirements, while keeping solutions aligned with the strategic direction of the company. Technical Consultant 2 is the mid-level role on the Technical Team and is intended for candidates who possess over two years experience that are capable of bringing their learned skills to better assist the Technical Team. In this role, she/he will assist in documenting technical designs, investigating new technologies, prototyping new Haley product features and leading development, and appropriate testing and documentation of delivered solutions. Technical Consultants will be mentored by senior members of the Technical Team and will be expected to mentor more junior staff and assist in general IT infrastructure support within the office.
The ideal candidate for this position is an ambitious individual looking to further their IT career and aspire into a more senior role by moving into a role that exposes a wide range of technologies. We are currently seeking a Tech Support Consultant to be located in our Pittsburgh, PA office who will take responsibility for managing support for our remote sites in North America. The role is a hands-on role and will have some administrative assistance provided. It would suit someone who has managed software help desks before and that they need some understanding of technology. The successful candidate will:
- Provide technical support on issues escalated to the help desk as needed
- Work with developers to identify issues, correct bugs, and validate resulting fixes
- Assist in validation and correction of technical documentation and examples
- Assist in responding to RFPs and maintaining FAQs as needed
Qualifications
- A BS or AA degree in a computer-related field
- 2 years of experience developing or supporting software
- Experience with J2EE, .NET environments, coding in Java/C
- Experience with build tools , configuration management and bug tracking tools
- Thorough knowledge of Windows and Linux
- Working knowledge of Solaris, AIX and HPUX platforms
