Activity 4: Integrate the Rules with the Application
Typically, the fourth step in developing a business rule management system using Haley Expert Rules is integrating the rules with the application by mapping the concepts and relations in the Business Concept Model with the application's objects, procedures and data structures as provided by the object and data models. Haley Expert Rules is the only BRMS that provides a three-tier architecture which separates the business logic from the application and allows simple application integration once the rules have been created and tested.
Two simple steps are involved with integrating an application with the business policies so that executable rules code can be automatically generated from the English.
